Women’s Ministry is a special ministry set apart to care for the needs of the women of the church and community. Our mission is in line with the world church mission, which is to lift up the name of Jesus in our church, communities and the world. Women’s ministry seeks to reach out to women, and help them reach their full potential in all areas of their lives, emotionally, spiritually, physically and socially. We seek to help women build strong support networks in the church and encourage supportive bonds of friendship, mentorship and support.
A vital function of this ministry is to provide support for women who are hurting. Women face many difficulties in this world, divorce, abuse, sadness and loneliness; this ministry is here to be a supportive network for all women. We strive to be of service in offering opportunities for all women to seek their God given purpose and talents for the work for the gospel. We embrace all women and strive to work side by side as we deepen our faith and connect to our Lord. Our goal is that everyone woman entering this church will experience the love of Christ through their own personal relationship with him, and be lifted and encouraged by the love and respect of their fellow sisters in Christ.
We do not see this ministry as a “department”. All women of Ambassador are called to be ministers for Christ; therefore, we all minister to one another. Every woman has a specific call and purpose and Women’s Ministry wants every woman to dream higher and reach higher as they strive to fulfill God’s purpose in their lives. If you are interested in using your talents or discovering new ones we are here and eager to assist you with opportunities to do so.
The Women’s Ministry team hosts many events to help facilitate positive relationships among women and strengthen their spiritual growth.
